Feel free to scoff at my boring flowers but they are addicting to make and color-filled fun (all the roving was dyed with kool-aid and all were needle felted--I put pin backs on most).  They aren't anything compared to the beauty of this board.  However, all things are inspirational, right?

I made needle felted eyeballs for a swap and I am finally getting back to making more.

Boring? Hardly!  Lots of pretty colors.  Nice shapes, some curving up and reaching out, great definition .  Especially like the ones with smaller inner petals.

And the eye ball is effectively creepy.

Felt on!!

Thanks, graceo.  I really appreciate it!  It gets better to work on the defination.  Flowers are a great "gateway" into more complicated projects!

flowers are a gateway. I think the organic world contains a multitude of possibilities..  Wink I love your flowers- they are sweet. I can never control my urge to want to stick this here and that there..lol. they are perfectly perfect in my mind.

Whoa!  That eyeball made me jump a little when I scrolled down!  Good work.  Plus, I like your flowers with the extra petals in the middle, very cute.

Awww, thanks everyone!  The feedback helps in making more and developing my flower addiction further.

I was thinking of making more eyeballs by wet felting the balls then needle felting the "seeing eye" part then adding lots of bloodshoot scariness.  Then stringing them up and wearing them for Halloween.

teamwang, thanks for the suggestion.  I found 2 posts by you with eyeballs----very well done.  The pumpkin and bat are awesome too.

All needlefelted, right?

Can't wait for Halloween.
