I haven't gotten a chance to look through this thread yet, but I received some GORGEOUS stuff from kategirl.  I haven't sent yet, I'll be late Embarrassed  Here be the goodies, yargh!

A cute little bag charm.  A wonderful Shrinky Dink on it.  How did you get it so nice?

A little flower charm.  So cute, I'm going to put it on some leather cord.

A PURPLE necklace and bracelet set!  My favorite color!

Some hot pink yarn that I couldn't resist, I started knitting already.  I'm making a headband.

A little scarf/headband/thing.  So cute and fuzzy!

A little mushroom felt pin, shown here on my new wool jacket.  *love*

A magic washcloth, it used to be a flower shape but I "un-magic-ed" it Tongue

Some pretty little Hello Kitty bottle cap magnets, going straight into my locker!

A pair of pale pink earrings and a memory wire bracelet.  So delecate and... sigh Smiley

A felt iPod cozie and a bunch of cute stitch markers.  Thanks a bundle, I love these things!

A charm bracelet!  The clasp is great, and all the beads are wonderful!!

"Just  because you've got the emotional range of a teaspoon doesn't mean we all have"

I'm back!  Older, wiser, and better at crafting Smiley.

I received a wonderful package from taloola today.  I have been really busy running around after kids and my son had a football game today (we won - go roughriders!) so I haven't had a chance to photograph it.  I will definitely do so tomorrow so you can all share the joy.  Thanks taloola - it's a wonderful bunch of chicken & surprise goodness!!!

Well, after finally finding just the right pattern to use the yarn on, and then finding out that I didn't have the right needles (or rather, I had only two of the three DPNs  Angry), I decided, I'm unravelling it.

Pictures to be posted soon.

My fabulous date Snacker arrived to pick me up for the dance tonight! It's been a long day, not enough sleep last night and then a 9 hour work day, arriving home in a rain shower after the daylight was gone. But, I got okay photos anyway. Here we go.

For starters, I got 2 bags, a tie bag and a bag made from some funky red and pink fabric. The tie bag seems sturdy enough that I should be able to tuck my laptop in it on days when I don't want to carry my enormo laptop case!

Then, I got some jewelry to wear to the ball! A noisy bracelet with a ton of great charms. My favorite is a wee skull!

I also got some very neat dragon earrings! They feel heavy for me, but my ears are quickly adapting [I've still got them on from the photo shoot.] Also, to be fair, my ears are so used to only wearing studs that any long earrings feel weird at first. They're great though! Dangly and fun, and dragon-y!!

I made sure to get a good grin-ny shot for everyone who likes to see my silly mug. Thanks so much Snacker, it was a great swap!

ETA: There was also a small, fabric covered mixed paper journal that escaped photographing. It's very pretty!

dorkariffic i can't believe you held out this long.  i would have unraveled that thing the second it came out of the box.  i still sneak peeks at my christmas presents. . .so, yeah, probably no magic yarn blobs for ME in the near future!
