Thanks so much for the pattern! It's darling!
This is my first amigurumi (or however the freak it's spelled!) thing I made. I'm a bit disappointed that you can see the stuffing a bit through the holes. I guess I need to use a smaller hook or something?? It's pretty cute, though... now what to do with it?!

I will have to say I love this pattern and I am so glad I came across it cause the octopus is adorable. Although I totally messed up the tentacles cause there is a huge gap on the front making him look like he's missing a tentacle or two. Here is my octopus on my boyfriend's head, (I made him a little crown at the insistence of my bf, cause he wants me to make many many more), the picture opportunity was too much to pass up. LOL.

NerdyCrochetGal- I love his crown! And, the gap between his tentacles just gives him more character! Nice job!

I've been meaning to make one of these as a gift for a little girl who just became an "older sister." I have gifts for the new baby and I don't want her to feel left out. I need to get some cool yarn to make one in...

Guess I'll hit the craft store tomorrow!

thanks for the pattern too!

i'm destashing all of my scrap yarn by making amigurumi and these would be a great addition to my crocheted menagerie!
