I thought since I just joined up I'd say hello to the other craftsters in the area! Not too many guys on these boards, but if you'll have me, I'd love to be a part of the group! My wife and I live in Allendale too, so if anyone sets up a West Mich meetup I'll SO be there!

(This post seems to be laden with exclamation points...)

Anyhow, I'm a craftee guy from way back but now I'm working on mastering cross stitch. I found the book Subversive Cross Stitch and it was all over. I'm looking forward to showing you all what I'm working on! I've done a bunch of different crafty things, so I hope that I'll be able to share at least half as much knowledge as I've already taken away from these forums! I've made soap, done collage and mixed media things, learned crocheting, painted, made chainmail, and lord knows what else, so I'll help if I can!

Alright, enough exclamation points already! I'll see you all around!

Wow- not too many guys on these boards!! Nice to meet you! I'm sure you'll add another whole dimension to our boards here. =)

I know there's an eastern (Royal Oak?) meet-up next weekend... not sure about anything closer to you.

Anyway- welcome to the forums!!

Ehh- I just think that people don't visit the city guides as often as every other board. =)

Fair enough! Maybe I'll just jump on into the needlepoint boards then. That's what I'm working on right now anyway! Thanks again!

Hey there!  I grew up in Jenison, and I went to GVSU for a few classes when I was in high school.  Nice to see people from around the old homestead!!  My parents still live in Jenison, so I get back to the Westside a few times a year.

You should totally check out the boards for the different things you do.  And come see me in the Misc. Topics board, we'd love to see some chain maile over there!

Step off, I'm doin the hump.

Hi Mike! Nice to meet you.

Definitely check out some of the other boards. They get waaaaay more discussion than the city boards. Wink
