glad to see I'm not too late to join in! I actually started knitting this in one yarn, but it really did not show the lace pattern very well. So I bought a new yarn, Berroco Ultra Alpaca, since I didn't want to spend a fortune on this project - (I've got too many projects going - and a HUGE stash of more expensive yarns - ok - I've got an addiction - I admit it) anyhow - so I casted on - and then I started knitting and realized I was not paying attention and knit like 12 rows without looking at row #7!!! Ah - I couldn't believe it! So I tinked back - since I'm horrible at "ripping" back - and now I am on the right track. I hope! I'll try to be good and post my progress - and if there is some kind of miracle - I might even post some pictures!  Shocked

hi - craftster newbie here - i've just started rusted root - or jaded root as another knitter said since i'm doing it in oriental jade cotton fleece - i just wanted to post and see if anyone is still knitting the sweater... i love seeing finished projects and hearing about people's progress.  i am hoping to finish this for my sister for christmas - but i'm a grad student and this is my first "sweater" - so far i've only done scarves and felted bags.  but so far its good, the lace looks good and i really like the yarn!

let me know if anyone's still knitting rusted root along with me!

i m still knitting it. Now at the shaping portion.

Glad to see the KAL's still on. I'm knitting it, too. Everybody seems to be having size issues so I was a bit worried and turned the sizing into a hybrid of XS and S. I just finished the raglan section and .. don't know .. hopefully it will fit ..

By the way, I'm loving my yarn (which is Diana by Katia), it is so so so soft and snuggly Cheesy
