so i've been lurking on craftster for at least a year and i painted these shoes quite a while ago. i got them at walmart i believe, for cheapcheapcheap, and i needed to make them better. i used artist acrylics, the kind that are more like oil paints, but less crumbly and faster-drying.  (not bottled, tubed) yeah i know i'm bad at descriptions.

also, i have wide feet and high arches so instead of using the velcro for closing the strap i had to add in a safety pin to close it. it's very sloppy and i really should just put some black elastic inside. lazy me.

(please excuse the dirty insides)

i love em. Grin

Aw, those are cute! I have some mary janes like that, but not rainbow like yours! I should do something like that to mine. Good idea. And also your description of the acrylic paint in tubes wasn't bad. I knew what you meant, but then again I am an art major... so I tend to knew things like that Wink... Now, I am just going on about nothing.... I really like your shoes, is what I'm trying to get at!! Cheesy

I'm waking up again and see that war on screen again
And it makes me want to go and hide
This world is full of misery, the anger is too big to see
That's why I had to dream this dream
