I got mine in the mail today!  I loved the ones I saw in real life at the craftster mod meetup in Portland.  Picture here.  So, thanks to jungrrl's link that overcame my easily distracted craftster searches, (which, by the way is this link to spreadshirt, before I get distracted and go search for some random craft I might do someday), I ordered my shirt and GOT IT IN THE MAIL TODAY.  it took like four days.

I decided to represent craftster AND my adopted home town and crafty crew, and but my money where my boobs mouth is.

It's black as black can be.  It's the American Apparel Classic Girl in medium.  I actually measured myself before I ordered, which I never do.  It's a pretty good fit, but I probobly would order a large next time.  But I recommend this version of the shirt.  It's my new favorite shirt and I've only had it 26 minutes.

I really want one with crochet hooks that says
"A totally different kind of Hooker"
But I  am not sure if I am brave enough to wear it.

That's hilarious but I wonder what your in-laws would think of it?  When I was growing up and knew them, they were fairly conserative  Grin

Hiya,

Can I ask a question about the quality of the prints of the various t-shirts?

I had a look at the skull & knitting needles one at Cafepress, but the small size is too big for me (I like my shirts fairly fitted). I guess I could resize it myself, but if I'm going to spend that much money on a t-shirt it might as well fit right away.
At the Magpie site they have my size, but in my experience silkscreen prints always crack after a while.
The ones from Spreadshirt are great, but I'm not going to add text to mine, and I'm afraid the print is too high up on the Junior Jersey Tee. Seems alright in the Yoga Top though.

So, my questions are:
  • What's the quality of the print like from the various websites? Does it hold up well? Does it crack? How do they compare?
  • Would the skull print on the Jersey Tee from Spreadshirt look as if it is placed too far up/out of proportion without text?

Thanks in advance!

I don't have one from Magpie so I can't compare... but you can move the picture on the spreadshirt tee.  Smiley Smiley
