So, we're moving and for some reason my parents needed to talk to my grandma&grandpa..so we go to there house. As soon as we get there I'm dismissed, as usal. So I take my little electric scooter I keep over at her house down the road for a ride when I spy a garage sale sign.
Determined, I go down there and start looking through a box of books.
I had no money Sad
So grandma gave me a five and shooed me out of the room.
Back down the road I go...
Right next to the box of books is a box of records and I start to look through them...she had them all..KISS, ACDC, Poisin...blah blah blah.
I knew that they had to be saved, she was going to throw them away at the end of the day. I only had enough for one, but I got a pretty nifty one.

So, moral of the story..look carefully at garage sales.

Alrighty, now...it's a normal size record..the lady said that the record had never been used, I could tell anyways because not a single scratch on either side of it. The box is in almost perfect condition too, just a bit flaky around the edges from age.
The record is "ACDC, dirty deeds done dirt cheap"

Thanks for any suggestions!!

Do you have a record player? Or did you just buy it? Craft stores and some record stores sell frames to put them in so you can display them.

dang i wish i had the other ones you didnt get! theres all sorts of things you can do with records...
1. make a little stand, put the record on top, and glass on top of that and have a nifty little end table
2. make a clock
3. rock out to it
4. put the vinal in the oven and bend it into a bowl
5. see if you can reserch and find out if its a first printing and worth tons of moolah!
6. hang it up on the wall as a poster
7. get more records and put them all over  your walls and redo your room!

yeh im not thinking very creativly right now but good luck!.....back to work i go....

owl be there

Thank you for all your replies!

However, I turned the case of the record into a folder for school. For the liner in the inside so that it would be able to hold paper I took the lyrics sheet from the inside and cut it in half, then superglued the pages to the bottom of the inside.

I will post a picture tommorow, I'm in the middle of unpacking my camera cords and crap like that.
