A good friend of mine (we've only been close since around January) is soon leaving for University. I have yet to give her a birthday gift/graduation gift so I told her I would have something before she moves. She's leaving September third and wants something made that she can put in her dorm. She's not a big fan of anything in particular. And I don't really have much money to spend. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Smiley

Hmm... I just scanned in about 1/3 of my DIY clippings from my magazines such as COSMOgirl! and Seventeen. They have a lot of stuff suitable for dorms and that. What's your price range your willing to spend? I'll see what I have and post the pictures on here for ya!

OK, well what about making her a huge collage of pictures of you guys together, of things that remind you of each other, and of inside jokes, secrets. Maybe make her a pretty journal with inspiring quotes and phrases like You Can Do It! Or you could make her a box of souvenirs, things that remind you of each other and on the top write her a letter, and wrap it up as a present and tell her to open it on her first night away. Maybe make a collage for motivation for whats she's studying and glue a mirror in the middle. I hope I helped a bit  Undecided
