Here is a netted necklace I did a few years ago.  I have made several since with differing crystals and beads, but they all got given away and this is the only one I have left - the original, and the first netted necklace I have done too (from a pattern from thatbeadlady.com).  I have done some netted Christmas ornaments too - but they were all given away  Cry

Breathtaking!

That must look just FABULOUS when worn!!!

You're so kind to give away your creations. I'm sure the recipients are very appreciative.

WHat else have you made?

Beadwise?  I have done at least three or more of these necklaces.  Some simple drop necklaces, several crocheted wire and crystal necklaces, several tigertail and accent bead book thongs.  As well, some bead crochet for two garters, and several of the beaded ornaments - the Victorian style netted ornaments.  Here is a link to some patterns to show what they look like (not the ones I actually did myself):

Right now, I am working on some peyote stitch necklace/chokers that I need to add some accents too.

Gosh! How long might that have taken!!

Not long at all once you get the basic pattern down, because it is repeated.  It was essentially worked in two halves - the top netted section that had the vertical lines with the crystals, then the drape that forms the heart shape added after the top is finished.  It worked up really fast once you get into the rhythm of counting out the beads.  It is stunning in blue, with iridescent crystals, and in light pink with the pale pink crystals.  I think I may do it in matte black with hematite stone too.
