Can anyone point me in the direction of a shiny, silver yarn?

I'm thinking along the lines of Lion's glitterspun.

Except cheaper.  Less than $5 a skein, because I'll probably need a lot of it and I'm poor.  Unless it's an incredibly large skein.  Or it's glitterspun on a site selling it for way cheap.

And entirely silver, not a different color with silver specks.  And not fuzzy or furry.  A shiny gray might be okay.

I'm wanting to make something black with silver in it, reminiscent of a night sky with stars.

Thank you for any help!!

I think Patons did one which was just as you described. But it was quite scratchy, so not so good for wearing.

If I remember the name I'll post it up here. But this was in the UK, so don't know if it would be available elsewhere.
