My first thought upon reading about this challenge was...art journal.
I dunno why.

So that's what I did:

Well, tried to do, anyway.

The pages are a piece of sketchbook paper chopped up teeny, the cover is a teeny piece of my hand-painted fabric, and I did a teeny drawing or painting on each and every page.

Technical-ish photos to show size:

(grr, it's been shrunken and distorted)

At it's widest - fully opened - it stays within the 2 inch limit.

Wanna see all the pages?
(It's a clickable thumbnail that you'll need to zoom in on when you get to it's page.)

There's no rhyme or reason, point or purpose to any of the pages, really.  I just put down whatever happened to be on my mind at the moment...and I was heavily sleep-deprived all throughout June, so be warned.

Sometimes it's an answer to a conversation I was having, sometimes it's a reference to some of my favorite things, sometimes it's a visual representation of my dearest held wish to sleep.

It's random.  And broken.  Welcome to my brain in miniature...

...scared yet?

That is some serious art book.

My book arts professor would love that and I give you an A+!

I really like it, dearie.  You are a very talented person and that fact shines through the haze of your lack of sleep.

So many things fail to interest us, simply because they don't find in us enough surfaces on which to live, and what we have to do then is to increase the number of planes in our mind, so that a much larger number of themes can find a place in it at the same time.

Wow...I got awesome comments...

As far as the challenge goes it doesn't really stand up to some of the others, but I like it.  And it came out how I pictured it, which is always a pleasant surprise.

Thanks muchly!

I love all the pages Smiley That's great.
