wow, amazing!  i have been into crossstitching tiny pictures lately!  how did you attach it to the felt?

I cross-stitched through both the aida cloth and the black fabric and the same time.  I planned to pull each fiber of the aida cloth out of the mario design, leaving the design on the black fabric, but, they wouldn't come out, so I just cut the aida cloth around the mario, leaving a little white border.

I'd feel bad making ten of these for myself but my boyfriend rarely plays the DS Lite. Oh well! I look forward to making the Trace Memory and Big Brain Academy bags! Dr. Lobe loves enchiladas!!

How did you pu the mario on? I was cross stitching sprites, but I wanted to put them on things!!

I laid a piece of aida cloth on top of the black fabric, and stitched through the aida cloth and the black fabric at the same time.  I used the aida cloth because I can't trust myself to sew in a straight line.  Smiley  When I was finished, I cut the excess aida cloth off.  It left a little white border around the mario.

If you already have the sprites cross-stitched, you could tack them to some fabric using a few stitches.
