I think they do that to show that they aren't "hotlinked" here.  They are showing that they stored copies of the photos on their servers so that everytime someone looks at their page, they aren't eating up our bandwidth to load a picture on their page.

Some sort of link here might be nice though.  Smiley

I think they should, at very least, credit the creator.

no kidding!

i've been gone on vacation.

today i spent an hour googling and came up with dozens of sites that are talking about it (and using the pictures  Angry but what can i do?) and commenting.

i'm just sorry not more of them are linking to craftster.

notmartha.com was one of the first ones to pick it up right here, i think.

 Cheesy

Well... I know it's a bit late for this, but you could put a watermark on your photos and re-publish them. At least you would be getting some credit for them (at least, on the ones that get taken from now on).

they aren't high-res. . .and they are hosted by UT's webspace. . .so i could take them down if i were really bothered.

but people seem to like it, so why not leave them.

it's just irritating, as a photographer, that people are so oblivious to fundamental  politeness. . .
