remember the friendship bracelets you used to make in elementary school?
about a year ago, i found a half-completed one in a pair of jeans i never wore.  since then, i've been making them like crazy, and they've gotten way more advanced.  they're really good to do in class, at least for me, because i could still pay attention and do them at the same time.  Cheesy somehow i dont think i'll be able to do that next year in college, though!

i have a ton i've made over the last year, and since i have no idea what to do with them all i just keep them in a box.  about half of the ones i make i give away (since they are friendship bracelets) and then the rest i keep.

anyways....heres a sampling of the ones ive made

Wow, those bring back memories!  I used to LOVE making those!  I need one like the one on the bottom pic, on the left-side!  Too cute!  I would put a clasp on it so I could wear it always!

Good luck with college Smiley

I make friendship bracelets also!   Grin it's a bit like an obessesion now!  I could never make a decent arrowhead though, mine always end up with one side going the right way and the other side facing the wrong way!  Argh! Angry So i'm always envious of those who can do arrow head!  I stick to the basic one and zigzag =\

I love the black and white one!

I used to do this ALL the time, but they always twisted...How do you stop the twisting?

Thanks for reminding me why I have all that embroidery floss...not just for sewing with...

Obsession noted, but these are so wonderfully clever! I don't think I ever graduated to the really complicated designs....so I'm SO impressed with your half circles....Very cooooool!

Once upon a time, I could do all those designs! But I gotta say, you have a brilliant eye for color..those all look fantastic!
