Hello everybody, I finished this green halter a few days ago and now - itīs raining all the way here and in fact, now the summer seems to be gone, I realized - I donīt like green Huh. I was just in some kinda rush when I went to the shop to buy new yarn and as the colour I wanted wasnīt there, I just HAD to buy another colour. Somehow I canīt manage my addiction. hhhmmm.
Hope you like it, though.

Oh, that is very cute!  I don't usually like green either, but do like that!  The stripes look great.  What yarn did you use?  Did you design it yourself?  I could never wear something like that ( 4 kids, saggy boobs, you get the picture!)  But, I do love it! Nice job!!

I don't normally like green either, but I really like that green!  Wear it out, see how many compliments you get!  It looks great!

I think your halter top is lovely. I like the green, but maybe if you like yellow better you should think of it as greenish yellow. Good work!

Thanks a lot for the replies, itīs always good to get support, especially when you are not very convinced of your work  Grin (in fact, I love the fit of the halter, just the colour ...see above...) Does anybody know how to dye a finished piece of clothing?

I used Lana Grossa "Elastico", very cool for the summer, I think, and the patternīs from the latetst "Filati"-magazine, but I changed it somehow, originally it was ribbed all over and the back was closed, so I just knitted the body without ribs and made a "v-neck-back" with crocheted picots around it.

It's cute and it would be cute in an aqua color too. I want to knit a top or something that but I'm still knitting hats and scarves. well thats not true, i am knittting a poncho right now but its still really simple  Embarrassed
