Thanks Elijor for the comments. I hadn't initially planned on it, but I think I will post my sweater from the Ultimate Quick and Easy Baby Sweater pattern on Completed Projects. The designers boast that it only takes 4 hours to knit up and they are pretty close. It took me about five hours to knit up the whole thing.

Thanks so much for all the links! All of the patterns are sooo cute. The hardest thing is going to be deciding which one to work on first.

the garnstudio website (http://www.garnstudio.com) has a lot of free patterns that you can print including baby clothes.

I have that Debbie Bliss book, and while it photographs beautifully, I got bored with it pretty quickly.  Best bet to check it out at the library and make copies of the patterns you like best.  Ditto with her Baby Knits Book.

That Garn Studio link is fantastic -- thanks for mentioning it, manika!

That does look like a great link manika!

I always try to check books out from the library first.  If I think I'll really use/like it, then I'll buy it.
