Here are the soaps I am using as X-mas presents for friends and family.

Group shot: The top purplish/grey bar is a special order for a friend, the other three are being used as gifts. (excuse my messy counter)

E-I-E-I-O: A bar with tallow, lanolin, oatmeal, beeswax, and goat's milk, amongst other things. It smells rich and creamy. It's based off of my great-grandmother's recipe (of course I added olive and coconut oils to make it a little more modern), and I went cheesy with the name.

The Manly Bar (aka The Most Boring Looking Bar EVER): This was made at a special request by the men in my family that they wanted a nice bar of soap, but they didn't want it to look frou-frou. I think I succeeded. It's made with hemp oil so it's a nice bar of soap... just boring.

The Girly Bar: It has cocoa as the colorant, and vanilla scent. Since I have a lot of married friends, I thought it would be cute to give them a girly and manly bar. Har! It's made with a lot of cocoa butter and almond oil.  (ETA: This bar fell on the ground, so it is my "display" bar. The little white dots/bumps are not lye, they're a nice cheese-grater texture from the ground. *sigh*)

Siempre Lavanda: This is a special request for a true castile bar of soap. It is palm and olive oil, period. It has lavender buds and lavender essential oil. She wanted a greyish purple and this is what I came out with. She loved it... though personally I think it's kinda funky.

They sound and look lovely!  I would love to smell the E-I-E-I-o bar.  Smiley

And for what it's worth, I think the lavender bar looks really nice!  Organic looking.  Sure, it's not the most "frou-frou" bar either, but it looks how I'd imagine a lavender bar should look.

I'm one crazy broad!
