It is gorgeous!  And I, too, have added it to my wists.   Cheesy

As soon as I saw it I knew I had to make it.  Like you, I think a nice big one would bust my stash and allow me a guilt-free shopping trip to the local yarn shop.   Tongue

My family tease me because the only speeding ticket I got was when I was trying to get to the wool shop before it closed so I would have something to work on whilst on holiday in Scotland!   Cry

But I digress....your star blanket is lovely and I like the little twists in the arms - it makes it more friendly and huggable!   Kiss

Thanks for the link!   Grin

Wow, that looks great! I'm doing the same pattern in Meilenweit Megaboot Stretch (sockyarn). And I'm wondering how big it should be.

that yarn is so pretty! yours looks really classy in all one yarn like that.
i just stopped when i the rainbow ended, i think it was about a metre across. i guess the bigger you make it the longer the baby can use it before growing out of it.

I made that star blanket and the arms twisted cuz each side of the arm was a different length. One had less stitches leading to the point and than the other side leading away from the point. You could just exaggerate that to make to twist even more.
