i made this wallet a while ago when i first got my sewing machine. i got  a bunch of peices of felt in a kit with polka dots on them they were jsut small squares and since purple is my favorite color i made this cute little number. the card holder thingy is kind of off center but thats ok with me. but im having a problem with the closeure. i just pinned a peice of glittery purple velcro on (because it matched) i just used one peice becuase the felt sticks to it but the problem is that the part  doing the sticking is all raggedy now what should i do to fix this? should i keep useing the velcro or find something else? and what else could i use?please help me out!

see how frayed the poor little strap is?

Lets see here, you could do a couple of things.  Maybe sew some barbie snaps instead.  Or for the little flap, maybe a stronger material would work better.  I am big fan of magnetic clasps, but my "flaps" come to a point.  I think your wallet is super cute. Smiley

wallet  is  way  cute!  you  may  need to  make a  new  one and do the  velcro  on  both sides while  making and  make  your  flap a bit  bigger.   practice  does  make  you better at it.
very  cute  first  timer!
