ya know those magnets that are wicked cool but cost like 12 for  8 or somthing? here:

plain circle magnets ex: http://www.herbach.com/Merchant2/graphics/00000001/b2-003.jpg
half marble (clear color probably works best)
hot glue gun

so first you outline the picture in the magazine with the magnet circle and cut it out. then glue it to the magnet and and glue the half marble to the picture side of the magnet. its wicked cool and so much cheaper then buying them in some gift shop. actually speaking of gift shops they make wicked awesome gifts if you put them in an altoid tin or somthing. just a wicked neat project. http://www3.telus.net/~cblake1/going_domestic/Pear_Magnet.jpg
the site i first learned about this i have lost. which sucks because they had some other really nifty stuff.

I'd rather be the gypsy
who's camped at the edge of town
the one who has the dancing bear
that follows him around

and he lifts his big foot up
puts his big foot down
then bows..then twirls..
then dances round and round
elbow in the spine

you can also stick a thumbtack instead of a magnet on the back and have a slew of fab pushpins for your home or office!
