I had a plain white lamp that bored me to tears, so I jazzed it up.

I painted the body, and added some starry sparkly do-dads I had found at WalMart.

To pep the shade up, I used a stencil and with a paint brush painted the shade with glue and then carefully removed the stencil and dusted the are with the glue with white pearly glitter.  After it was completely dry I used a dry paint brush and dusted off the excess.

Very neat. I like how the glitter design is subtle.
