Of course I finished these on day 9 of triple digit temps in Dallas. 

They are my first fair isle project, so they're not perfect.  But I will try again!  I also had some trouble keeping the  tension even where I pulled the loop of my magic loop through.  (If anyone has any tips, that'd be great!)  You can see my goofy looking side regions on the legwarmer turned sideways. 

I was having trouble actually touching wool, because of the heat.  But I heard the theme song to Flashdance when I was driving to school today...I guess I was inspired!

Here's the pattern:

I used worsted weight yarn from the stash and size 9 circulars.

but what would you wear em' with

Oooh, awesome legwarmers!! And don't feel bad about knitting them just as summer's really hitting it's stride. I'm fixing to start on a scarf and some warm, wooly socks. XD

(Also, god yes it's been stupid hot lately. I'm in Richardson, BTW. I've determined it's in my best interests to stay inside all day. Keeps me from frying alive. )
