the curtains are just flat and hanging. i don't really need to look into my next door neighbor's bathroom anyway...other wise i make two panels of curtains for each window so they can slide on the curtain rod to be either open or closed.

the lime green might be more of a shocker if the other rooms were subtle like yours, but we have gone full tilt color, and actually this weekend i am going to paint my livingroom turquoise blue, and i already painted my studio room sunshine yellow. i figure in the dead of winter (here in lovely new england) it would be really nice to walk into a bright happy looking home.

don't fear the green...

lol! at my best friends house on the first landing the study is banana yellow which is like, working, in a banana!!!?Huh
and then her parents room is like the same colour as your dinig room but with a bit of flurescent added, then zuzis room is turquoise blue! (only that colour to annoy her mum and dad but hey!) your house sounds like her house!
i love your room by the way! and the little plushie on the chair!! Smiley

i want to walk in the snow and not leave a footprint

I love the colour choice and the curtain fabric. I live in an apartment, so alas white walls it is. Once I get into a house I'll be painting away. Cheesy I think you did an awesome job on the room - great work.

Be what you would seem to be - or, if you'd like it put more simply - never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise.

My husband and I took about a year and a half to agree on a color to paint our bedroom and finally decided on a lime-ish green entitled celery sprig.  The first time my brother stepped foot in my bedroom, he said "Oh, wow, this is, like, crazy people green... you know... like they paint the crazy hospital to keep everyone calm..."   Undecided
