Does anyone here know where to find plus-size blank t-shirts that are not the basic square mens-style crew-neck Hanes sort of t-shirts?  I'm looking for something that is scoop or v-neck, NOT high-necked, and slightly fitted or "baby doll" style -- like the t-shirts they sell at Torrid, but plain so I can work my own magic on them.  Anyone know where to find something like that?

OR can someone explain to me how to cut the neck out of a shirt and "finish' it somehow?  All of my t-shirts have the neck cut out, because I hate high necked shirts, but i'd like to have something that looks more "professional" and less "Flashdance".

I think Just My Size still makes V-neck and scoop neck t-shirts. My mom used to buy them at Walmart, I'm pretty sure they still carry them.

Hi there,

I'm new; just discovered this place yesterday and registered so I could give you my suggestion. Otherwise, I'm still looking about. Is there a special place for introducing oneself?

In any case, I suggest you check out www.dharmatrading.com. They have a nice selection of clothing blanks, including girly tees. Most everything is available up to 1X, many go up to 2X or 3X. They have cotton, rayon and some silks.

I've bought lots of blanks from them, as well as dyes, waxes, tools, etc. I've been very pleased with them.

[standard disclaimer]  I do not work for them, or anything. [/sd]

I've gotten some of the best scoop neck and V neck plus tshirts at Kmart.  Can't beat $4.99.

If you can't convince them, confuse them.

Walmart used to carry some really nifty "shaped to fit" Just My Size T shirts but they quit carrying them this fall.  Considering the source, they fit great and the quality wasn't too bad, which probably means we'll never see them again.....Sad

Last summer and this winter I bought some nice plain T shirts at walmart.  Different necks, cause I am the same way, all of the traditional T shirts have the necks cut out, and generally some sleeve as well.  Oh, and I have also gotten some really nice T shirts at Sams, nice necks and nice sleeves.

But I checked out that website to dharma trading and got off real fast with a save in favorites so I can go back when I have some money.  If any one buys any before me please tell us how they fit.

Depending on where you live, Old Navy sells some great plus size tee shirts that look more like girl shirts and are fairly cheap. If the Old Navy near you doesn't sell plus size clothes...you can always check the web site...

 Smiley good luck!

Target is poopy here as well for the plus sized  Angry  Which is horrid because I will do anything not to go to the Evil Empire (a.k.a. WalMart).  Anyway, just found the board and SO glad it is here Smiley
