Hey everyone! This is my first attempt with vinyl and I really like what I came out with! I designed the tree myself and let me tell you it was a PAIN (literally) to stitch through two layers of vinyl around the designs. my fingers still hurt haha. Let me know what you think!

Wonderful job!!  Brave to try vinyl--it is a pain to sew through multiple layers!!

Love your design and black and white always looks so sharp!!

I love sewing w/ vinyl!  I've only used clear vinyl, though.

Does the regular stuff stick to the machine the way clear does?  It makes me batty, but I keep trying anyway!  Plus I don't have any tissue around and keep forgetting to buy some to help it slide... guess it's my own fault I'm batty, then!

Aw, thanks for all your nice comments, guys! I really am happy with the result...and I love the brown and white together--it makes the tree really stand out, and this tree is my favorite of my designs. I use it in a lot of ways haha. Working with the vinyl wasn't too bad, but the corners were a little rough because it's so thick and my machine was a little grumpy after I was finished. I highly reccommend trying vinyl though!
