I made this dress for a friends sister going to her year 11 ball. Australians will know its not as full on as the year 12 ball or prom/formal/dance so its short but still dressed up. Boned bodice, three tired skirt with a cotton poplin, tulle bottom layer for comfort (tulle can rub) and my favourite it the spiderweb lace over layer.
Fit her so well i was surprised, materials would have been $35-40 and only took about 16 hours.

(photos taken on a friends phone sorry i would have had better quality pics if i had time to take them)
I used a simple pattern drafted for her, nothing too challenging and i know you can buy the same pattern too if you cant draft your own pattern.

*love*
