This idea is from Kathy Cano Murillo, or Crafty Chica (http://craftychica.com/) for a laptop sleeve. It's two pieces of fabric with quilt padding/lining/whatever the soft cottony stuff is inside between them to keep the laptop all safe and whatnot.

I tried sewing it on my machine but when it came time to sew the bottom part together, I broke a needle! So the two sides are hand sewn. I still like it. It's the second time I've used my new sewing machine this week (just bought it). Havent sewn since 8th grade (11 years ago) so I'm slowly relearning how not to stab myself with needles or sew through my fingers.

That is gorgeous, i am definatly going to have to try out my dads old sewing machine im leanring to use, and try to make a funky laptop bag like yours Smiley

Listening to the wind bustle past...and watching Muppet (the bearded dragon) sleep. This is lovely!

I've been trying to find an easy way to make a laptop case.  This is perfect!
