I'm going to join. I got the magazine a little while ago and just got the yarn last night. I'm using this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8292379042  It's a little scratchy and a little too thin, but it looks nice. So far I'm about 2 inches into the back ribbing.

That's a beautiful color, safetynewt! westcoastchica, exciting. This is my first sweater. Well, the first one I plan on completing! I have another one for my mom on the needles. I would be very excited if I was you!

i started this last week and am loving the pattern. i'm using some claron simply soft tweed that i didn't even know existed until i found it on sale at acmoore. the yarn is actually too thin, so i'm making it in a size up. it's super soft and squishy. i love it!

I just finished! Like 5 minutes ago! :-D

OK, in all fairness, I still have to figure out some kind of closure. But it's seamed up, and the ends are woven in, so I'm considering it done!!!

Here's another shot (excuse the pajamas and the clashing greens... I was just so excited to be done!!!)

Now I need to find me a new project!

Westcoastchica, Shocked That's gorgeous!  Love the colour, love the fit, it's ace!  Cheesy

I went to cast on for this last night as I'm hoping to take it on holiday with me, only to discover my only pair of 4mm needles are tied up in a sweater.  Sigh.  I think I'll just have to pack the yarn and pattern, and pick up some new sticks while I'm away, I'm dying to get going!

I love it too!!! I was actually happy that it's kinda chilly today (and I work in an air-conditioned office) because I got to wear it out of the house (and not with my clashing green t-shirt, don't worry)! :-D Who knew you could debut a 100% wool hoodie in the middle of summer!

I'm SO loving the green. I am on a bit of a green kick these days... as are a few of you too, it seems!

Ok, I wanna see more pictures of everybody else's progress!
