I have just finished making winter hats for my family. I made matching hats for me and my 2 daughters - they were made with Bernat softy chunky, and I attached a fabric covered brad to the center of each flower - I think it finishes the hat off well. I also made matching hats for my husband and son. And because I couldn't stop there I made a newboy hat for my son too.

For more info and pics you can check out my blog and maybe you will win a custom made hat of your own.

Aw, your family is so beautiful!  The hats for you and your daughters are adorable.  I love the color and I definitely agree that the fabric covered button does the trick.

And the hats for your hubby and son look so soft...

And I love the newsboy too!  It looks store-bought!

Awesome job!

Totally awesome and cute! I always thought matching hats would be tacky, but I am SOOO making me and my DD a set now!! Thanks for your inspiration on the fabric-covered flower centre too!!! That's almost as awesome as the hats themselves!

Too cute, not sure if my 17 and 15 yr olds would like to match their mom and dad, but it gives me Christmas ideas for the nieces and nephews!

Great job!
