...which I will, of course, with my new swing pouch I made. It's basically just a rectangular zipper pouch (from this tutorial - thanks!) with a long strap with tons of buttons glued on. I made it becuase whenever I go to the mall or something I always get so sick of holding my purse. Now it can just hang by my hip.

Purse itself

Buttons, pretty much all glued on since I was having such a hard time sewing through the lining and then the outer fabric and interfacing and such.

Modeled by yours truly in my pajamas- oh what a lovely sight to see.

The back, just plain

What I like to call my "strap malfunction". After sewing on the strap I realized it was too long, so instead of trying to seam rip the whole thing out, I just folded it over. I don't mind it.

I really like it and I can't wait to use it tomorrow when I go out and about!

I definately know what you mean about getting tired of your purse. I just made a messenger style bag to carry around the lake this weekend so I wouldn't have to worry about it when I'm on the rollercoasters.

I love all your buttons. Especially the scissors! Where did you find that one?

I bought one of those packages of random buttons that they have at craft stores (Rag Shop to be exact) and it was in there. I loved it so much, that's why it has it's special place on the end of the pile. I just hope it doesn't fall off! I'll cry.

So cute!  I really like the combination of all the buttons.
