My daughter is having her 6th birthday party tomorrow.  I made these flowers for her little friends.

The pattern is here:  http://www.crochetme.com/June_July_2005/patt_flowers.htm  It's the "small flower"  I used a "magic ring for the center instead of a chain.  I left a long tail so that I could sew on a decorative button and also sew it to a hair band.

I hope the girls like them, each girl will get a pair in a cute drawstring bag with other treats and stuff.

I also got excited with perler beads, but that is for another forum....

That is such an awesome idea! I love it! I just learned to crochet. I think my girls would love those. Thanks for the inspiration.

It's tough to give them away! I want my child to have everything I make in every color!  She does too actually, because she hid some before I got them stashed into the gift bags. She claimed, "I didn't want them to get lost!"   I also just love to look at them in a big colorful pile.

What great gift bags.  I love seeing kids get 'real' stuff instead of more little plastic toys and doodads.

That is so awesome. I would love to have gotten these at the birthday parties I went to when I was little.
