My mom bought this sewing table at a estate sale when I was younger and I always wanted it then one day, about 19 years later fate smiled on me and she called me up and offered it up, after she so wonderfully gave me a sewing machine for Christmas! <3 my mom!

seeing as how the table was old and beat up from my many years of crafting on it and it moving around I felt that the table need a facelift, so here it is!

This is the before pic, it has a skirt that goes around it but the snaps are falling apart

After sanding it.. by hand no doubt!

Primed, sealed, and ready to go!

All finished and ready for many more years of use and abuse! I may or may not put the skirt back on. I need to find some snaps. but I saved them just in case! Hope the pics show up and I <3 the way it turned out!

due to the strange weather going on here in Boston, I kept having to move it in and outside...

I love that table.  It looks like it has arms that swing out from the front, is that right?  I think you did a smashing job with it I like the skirt on the front idea I might have to do that to my table.  It just goes to show you, good things come to those who wait.  I'm sure you'll get many good years out of it.

Now see, that is the problem with me. I would Never have thought to stripe it like that. It looks fabulous. Very creative.

You don't have to get it right the first time, just the last time.

This must be one of the MOST beautiful things I have ever seen!:) I love IT!

"Would you tell me please which way I ought to walk frome here?"

"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.

"I don't much care where--" said Alice.

"Then it doesn't much matter which way to walk," said the Cat.
