I made this for my best friend to give her mom for mother's day.
The baby is Olivia. This is the third piece I've made with her pictures.

The overall size is about 2.5 by 2.75. The box is paper mache covered in mulberry paper. On the front, the picture of her feet is behind a glass slide, trimmed in gold scrap and accented with lavender rhinestones.

Inside, the word on the left is trimmed with the same gold scrap & pink rhinestones. On the right, I dry brushed gold on the edges of the picture and accented the corners with more rhinestones pink & lavender.

You can never have too many rhinestones, can you?

Too right you can't !  Grin I'm obsessed with them!
But the really sparkly ones are so expensive, and they're not even swarkovski!
Anyway....
I love what you made, it's so original and i love the feet.
Olivia is such a cutie  Smiley

I buy the cheap plastic ones, but if you use them just right (and just use tiny ones) its
harder to tell that they are cheap plastic ones.

This shrine rocks.  Even though I'm partial to your shrines, they still amaze me!

You can either go to my blog http://amaryllisroze.blogspot.com/ and look at all the posts there or do a search here on Craftster for pocket shrines and you can see all the ones I've posted in the past. There are quite a few of them.
