This was a pretty fun pattern to work with. Took me about 3 days, (with a really bad cold the past 2) and i'm a novice sewer. The scallops were really good for practicing curves on the machine.


I also left the pockets off because i didn't like them. okay, I left em off because I screwed em up. Harhar! But anyway, i'm going to put some rickrack on it, I just want to show off the scalloped edge which I lurve.


Please pardon my silly expression and goofy hair. I was on cold meds and had bed head but just couldn't resist.

Oh yea, here's a close up of the ugly but retro looking seersucker fabric I got for 2 bucks a yard:

You look adorable!  I love aprons, even though I do not cook--I love making them, anyway, and you did a fab job with those scallops for a newbie sewer!!

The fabric is vintage-looking and suits the pattern!!
