For anyone who may still check this thread, I saw this in Seven Days the other day... Don't know what day of the week, as the ad doesn't say, but just thought I would spread the word....   Smiley

this sucks!  i just moved from burlington to massachusettes, but before i left i tried to gety some friends together at viva espresso for an s-n-b.  only like two people showed up, but it was cool.  viva espresso is super kid friendly, and they make an amazing soy mocha.  i hope lots of people show up for this.

I'll only private swap with you if you swear to read my blog everyday. SWEAR IT!

There's a group getting stared in Barre that is going to crochet/knit items for charities-both human and animal, and it's called Warm Creations I think.  And they'll teach you how to knit/crochet if you don't already know how.

Hi! I just joined Craftster today. I'm located in Lamoille County. It's nice to see that some"locals" are here! Anyone do craft shows around the state? Just curious if I've ever run in to any of you before!

Hi. Vermonter here. I love to do all crafts but sewing is my favorite. If you have seen me, it's a good chance it was at a yard sale! I love turning "garbage" into art. Yes, my craft area is ALWAYS a mess(or clean for a few hours once a year) but everyone is like that right?

Montpelier sew crafter... newish to the Northern VT area... just coming out of the 5 month hibernation! I really had no idea how different the weather up here is from Bennington area. It appears to be over now... reports of possible May snow though. This posting has lain fallow for about a year but I thought I'd chime in anyway. Any news of a central Vermont Craft Mafia? (Burlington's is Burlington only).

Hey there,

Does anyone know of any s-n-b in the Burlington area?? Or any sewers that get together?

I'm in the Montpelier area, and always interested in connecting with other crafty types.   Smiley

I realize this topic's been dead for a while, but I have a question for you fellow VTers: Do any of you know of Anime/Manga conventions going on this summer close to Burlington? I'd love to check one out.
