I've been crocheting for a while but am still working on 'beginner' type projects.  I can follow simple patterns, etc.  This pattern really hasn't been difficult to work on at all. I've just been lazy so am only half way finished with it but I've found the instructions to be very easy to follow, especially if you have worked on amigurumi's in the past. Since the instructions are clear, it really does make it nice and simple to work on.  There's a stitch count after every row, so you'll know you're on the right track. i think it'll be worth it in the end! plus, it will give you good practice working on such a creative project.
