So I finished this purse ages ago but just got around to putting some handles on it. I am really not all that happy with it and have no idea what to do with it cuz I doubt I will use it , but I thought I would share anyway. Tongue

It seems lately none of my projects are turning out like I envision them and I am ending up with lots of stuff I will never use, but can't seem to stop making. I think I may need to seek help................

i think it looks nice and really well made.  you could probably sell it to someone if it doesn't fit your tastes.

Hey, I like it!  The yarn looks fun, and I like the shape--maybe in time you will view it differently.  I too, suffer from "letdown" after I finish an object, but for me, I find that after a little time has gone by I have a better perspective and find myself liking things better.  Good Job, even if you're not satisfied!

I think you did a wonderful job. You could always give it away as a gift for someone. I think alot of people would love it. Or you could use it to store yarn you have lying around.

I find I do the same thing though. I love knitting stuff, but when I am done I just put them away and never use them, except if it turned out really well.

I like it--especially the oval handles. Maybe it could use a little adornment. Then give it as a gift or sell it. Give it to the charity of your choice for sale at a bazaar or silent auction.
Somebody oughta have a swap for unloved finished projects.

I thinkit's kinda cute too. Maybe if you make something else it could go with you'll like it more.  Not for nuttin'...but the purse looks great next to Red.  Considered making something with her?

I never have an idle day,
New ideas come my way.
Don't know yet what I'll create,
But my imagination's great!

I totally suffer from let down after I finish most of my knitting projects.

The bag is cute.  Maybe try some different handles?  Or you can gift it!

That's totally NOT ugly. I would have picked different handles maybe.

oooo....I really like it!  Was it knitted in the round?  How did you attach the handles?

I think the handles balance out the bottom.  Beautiful work!

I do know the feeling of all projects going to a place I didn't envision them---and how frusturating that can be.

Now have a snack!  Snack on!

Actually, I really dig it.  Purse and handles.

You should use it when you go to the market.  It would look very smart with a baguette sticking out.  If I'm estimating the size wrong and it's too small for a baguette, a hot dog bun will do.

Anyways, it's awfully cute...I'm sure you'll have no trouble selling it if you don't like it.

Lead us not into temptation, for we can find it ourselves.
