I'd like to send something, but do I have to be pre-approved?

So what are you, a mod or a rocker?
Six of one, half a dozen of the other, really.

Once you pick someone..You fill out the questionaire/sign up for the swap and then the swap organizer will approve you. Then she will pm you and you post your list.

- Half or full apron - something very foo-foo that says Bad Wife (it is a joke between my husband and me), or any apron with or without words
https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=2309.0 or http://snipurl.com/q8e2
- Oven mitt - http://snipurl.com/q99r or http://snipurl.com/q9aa - the full-on glove, not the fingertip mitts
- Needle book
- thanks RubyTuesday

-Sock Monkey made with a non-traditional sock - thanks udhillb
- Mini bowling bag purse

- ATCs any theme
- Marbled paper
- Old issues of Interweave Knits or Vogue Knitting, or any knitting mags for that matter
- Origami paper I want to make 1000 paper cranes for my father who is ill

DIY kits:

crochet I have some hooks, but I dont know what to do with them

- Nylon pot scrubbers  -  Please, I would like these to be made with nylon net cut into strips and then crocheted.  They scrub better and do not get smelly as fast as yarn scrubbers

- Faces for beaded dolls like in the butterfly and mermaid doll threads

- Surprise me with something you like to make.

Blurb:  I live in Missouri, USA with my hubby, two cats, and two dogs.  Colors that I like at the moment are:  jewel tones (blues, purples, greens, reds, yellows, etc.), earth tones (greens, browns, oranges), tone on tone combinations, white/black, and vibrant color combinations.  I enjoy science fiction and fantasy:  Star Wars, Star Trek, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, and I love renaissance faires and all the crafty stuff that goes along with them.

I'm Tab in Wisconsin, USA, and here's my wishlist;

Sewing Stuff
1. crochet roll- Some examples of ones I LOVE are in my wists, but anything to hold my hooks would be wonderful!

2. Tote Bag to hold my crochet projects- I need a nice bag to carry my crochet projects in when I'm going out. I'd like a pocket on the outside for my wallet, keys etc (prefer a zippered pocket, but any closure would do). A pocket inside would be nice, and straps just long enough to go easily over my shoulder.

3. Overnight bag (I know this is a really big one, but it would be a dream!)
I'd like it to have two straps, and be just long enough that I could put it on my shoulder.
I'd prefer it to be fairly big. Big enough for 2 pairs of jeans, 3 shirts, pjs, makeup bag, and other necessities. If you'd like more specific dimensions pm me.

* http://www.chelseyhenry.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CAWAPAP&Product_Code=CH-501&Category_Code=
(I like the styles of these bags)

4. 12" quilt squares- in earth tones any patterns, styles, etc...

5. A fun pincushion. If you want any inspiration check out the not your grammy's pincushion swap galleries https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=97455.0 some excellent ones there!

1. Cute necklaces Or Pendants
I have a few shown on my wists list. I love microscope slide pendants. OR anything fun. I prefer them to be at least 20"-24" long.

2. Hair items- I have recently gotten my hair cut quite short, and I love adding new, fun bobby pins, clip barrettes, and ribbon headbands. My hair is a really dark black, and I added a few pink highlights. I wear lots of black, so something that would match that would be great.

Paper Crafts

1. Small Notecards- to include in packages when I have swaps, or little notes to others. Any design from cute to provocativeThanks stellato_escuro

1. Soft Knit socks- I can't knit. I have tried, and I will continue to try, but I desperately want a soft pair of socks, any color is fine, I don't even care if they totally match. I wear a size 8 shoe US

2.Knucks http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEsummer06/PATTknucks.html I love the purple Harm none ones with the purple and the branches. It wouldn't have to say anything either. But they are gorgeous!

3. Half Dome- http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEsummer06/PATThalfdome.html This would be for my hubby. He'd need the large adult size (big head) and would love a black with grey or black with orange combination. He has a half life love and that would completely excite him!

4. Sock monkey hat http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEsummer06/PATThalfdome.html I love this!

Food Container For my gerbils. Right now their food is just kept in the resealable bag next to their tank, not very attractive. So I'd love a container to keep their food in. It would need to hold about 6-8 cups of dry food, be food safe, air tight, and cute.
One idea is; http://shop.aranziaronzo.com/cgi-bin/shopping.en/productpage.cgi?ProductId=05574

Halloween Fabrics-  I love pretty much anything, skulls, witches, monsters, etc.... I prefer less cutesy, but even cutesy can be fun sometimes! I have a hard time finding anything fun in stores.

Pretty Ribbons or trims

1.5" squares of cotton fabric- I'm working on making a postage stamp quilt, but I need lots more squares.

Fabric scraps (sort of in the same strain as the above squares, but if you don't want to cut the squares that's fine, send me scraps (with at least a 1.5 X 1.5" square amount) and I can cut it. Smiley

Old skeleton keys (any shape, size, plain or ornate) I LOVE KEYS! (My goal is to cover a small wall with keys!)

I love different types of good chocolate and would love to receive some!

Wooden crochet hooks (make them, find some, don't use some anymore, thrift store, etc...) all sizes and styles

Tab soda cans- I have so many crafts that I'd love to make with these, but I can't drink artificial sweetners, and I hate to buy the stuff just for the can. So if anyone drinks this, and would like to send me (clean) Tab soda cans I would be grateful!

Handbag- sewn, knit, crochet, whatever. I love handbags (something bigger than a clutch though please.)

A surprise- anything from my wistslist (it's in my sig) or something after looking at my wists or reading other posts that you think I may like.

About Me

I'm 28 years old. I am a stay at home mom to my 3 boys. I crochet alot, I make costumes, and dabble in everything else. I LOVE faeries. I love Halloween, Harry Potter, and so much more. My preferred style is probably medieval, think old castles with tapestries. I love the look of fancy old handwritting.  My favorite colors right now are grey and a dusty purple together. But I also love black, orange, brown, earth tones, etc.... (not necessarily together  Smiley )I'm honestly really quite simple, and the specifics listed above are just to help if you need it, if you want to go a different way. Please do!

Thank you so much to anyone who picks me I really appreciate it!

YAY! Hurray for Wishlist swaps--they make everyday like Christmas...*fuzzy good Christmas feelings*

Hmm... what do I want?
-Hand-dyed, or handpainted yarn.. self striping would be especially cool, if someone knows how to do that.
-The Perdita, from Knittys newest issue: http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEsummer06/PATTperdita.html The soft green color is pretty, but a blue or a brown would be awesome too.
-Tulip Toes booties, here:
http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEsummer06/PATTtuliptoes.html I love them... the 3-6 month size, or the 6-9 month size, for my almost 3 month old baby!
-This Swell hat (hee hee): http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEsummer06/PATTswell.html in a teal with gray or white or darker blue waves you know, to help me brave Iowa winters.
-cabled armwarmers, in blue or brown, or green, or light purple... the longer the better, as I am tall, and have long freaky monkey arms (not really about the monkey arms, but I am 6 feet tall)

-License plates to make this: http://www.uncommongoods.com/item/item.jsp?itemId=12856
- If anyone knows how to make stuff out of metal, I would really love a lightning bolt shaped tag for our black Lab, Storm. It would be cool if we could etch his info into it, too. He needs new ID, as he keeps eating his.
- Denyse Schmidt Quilts-I have been asking for this book since the beginning of TIME, it feels like. I got jelly beans instead.
- Surprises! Show me what you are very best at! I like oh-so-many-things. Thanks so much, Soon-Famo Artiste! You're the greatest! Cheesy

-Vintage trim, vintage patterns, vintage buttons I love vintage things! Especially patterns for little girls and girl baby clothes, as I have 3 little girls to sew for.

-Handmade paper
-letterpressed cards with my name on them

About ME
I'm 25 years old, and I stay at home with my three girls, ages 5, 3, and almost 3 months. On the weekends, I work in our local general/whole foods store. Since that doesn't keep me busy enough, I craft all the time, love swaps, and LOVE Craftster (Addicted. Really.). My favorite colors are sea and sky colors, and I love the combination of robin's egg blue and chocolate brown, also baby pink and brown. I love trees, old and vintage things (especially if they were useful in their time, i.e. jars, bottles, cameras...), and all things handmade. I love the Venture Brothers, and Mayor Adam West off of Family Guy. I am obsessed with Anthropologie, globes, maps, antique photos, and art made from glass or metal. My ultimate goal is to rule the world, but for right now I would settle for a successful crafty business.

If you have any questions, any at all, feel free to PM me! Please!

1) nestlace, i lovelove LOVE all of them seen here:

2) typewriter key bracelet:

3) amigurami creatures, for the life of me i don't think i'll ever be able to crochet, seriously any animals would be  a gift, here's some examples:

- anything sushi/japan inspired is great
- rockford red heel socks
- funky monkey sock monkeyfabric
- vintage-y jewelry (birds, cameo, cherry blossom, anything)
- homemade soaps
- coffee bean bracelet
- vintage-y looking pins (weird ones, random objects, etc.)
- recon. flats/slip ons (sz US 6-7 fits) (owls would be nice and i'm a sucker for those pop art ones)

Gosh, I hope that list didn't come off as too extensive or demanding.

I'm 15 and live outside Winnipeg, Manitoba. I craft too much for my own good, lately its a lot of purses and sock monkeys but I ike to recon. shirts and silk screen. I have two guinea pigs and a gecko. I like japan characters like tare panda (L), chococat, hello kitty, etc. Fav. wild animals are giraffes, owls, zebras, and elephants. I like all colors, just not florescents, they make me blind. You can't go wrong with earthy tones. I could watch Dirty Dancing Havana Nights a million times. I'd really love to own something with an Andy Warhol banana on it, I don't know what though. I do yoga/pilates a ton and I read alot. If you'd like any other info, feel free to PM me.
