I had my friend bring me back appliglue from England from her recent visit there with the "sole" purpose of sequined shoes in mind.  I am using mine for an art project - then of course I shall wear them.  The sequins I have are totally flat - so I am worried they won't turn out as well.  And if they look good and I don't go insane from the hours spent sequinning.....*imagining closet full of sparkly shoes........*

I LOVE THESE SHOES! im so lzy i think i'll just do high heeled sandles or somehting. my friend just bought some dorothy shoes off ebay for like 50 bucks! i cant wait to make these!!!

Those are gorgeous!  I'm amazed at your patience!  Being the impatient type myself (actually, more of the corner-cutting slacker type), I just used spray adhesive to cover a pair of cheap pumps with shiny, sparkly red fabric (1/4 yard).  All in all, it only cost me just under $7 to make a pair of "ruby slippers" to go with my Dorothy costume for Halloween.  They're super sparkly (you can't tell from the picture) and they won't leave a trail of glitter wherever I go.  Yay!
