 Grin Hey folks!

Man, I haven't been on here in forever!  But with the start of summer I've gotten a chance to do a bit of sewing.  Thought I might share the results?  Maybe?

This first is a wrap dress.  Doesn't fit as well as I would have hoped so all suggestions are welcome! I'm going to lie and say that I'm a lot tanner in person.

whole dress:

And for my finale, just a simple skirt from a pillow case I had around the house.  Pictures thanks to my brother who was unhappy to be separated from myspace.  Tongue First experience with this type of thing.

back (looks remarkably similar eh?):

Of course, I'm very open to suggestions.  I know they both need a bit of work!

Good luck to you on all your merry crafting adventures!

Rachael

Ugh! The links are a bit wonky.  But the URLs work!

I love the wrap dress!  The lace accents are really nice.

Your wrap dress is great.  And I love your kitchen!  Anyway, what is your complaint about the fit of the wrap dress - is it the neckline?  The quick fix would be to sew some little snaps where you want the fabric to overlap.  The long drawn out fix would be to adjust the shoulder seam - maybe put it on and have someone pull it up and pin it when it fits you the way you want it.

If you have no complaints and I just misread your post, just ignore my suggestions!

Well done on both projects!
