That is so awesome!  And I am tiny, so everything is too big - meaning I can really use this technique!

I tried this with a one dollar wal mart tee. I just made it fitted though. Really simple and good for practice =) Thanks for the inspiration.  Grin

Oh. I made another one too but it's so long it could be a dress. lol. It was like a XXL. Men's shirt. So..I'm not quite sure what I want to do with the bottom of it at the mo. Thanks again for the tut.

awww, that first dres is sooo pretty! I want one too!
The pattern really fitted a lot better with your dress-version then on the original t-shirt.

I would say the post was a tutorial itself. You clearly defined your steps to making an awesome dress. I can't wait to make one. I have the perfect shirt I have been holding onto for something like this!

Thank you for this easy-to-follow tutorial! Mine came together very quickly, and now I'll actually wear this shirt! Yay!

It was a 3XL, so the sleeves reach a little past my elbows. I love it! I didn't put any ties on, but I'm saving the extra fabric in case I change my mind.

Thanks again!
