Here is a new bag I kind of reconstructed from the very first bag I sew (and posted on craftster). These first two pictures are of the old one.

When I started to get a bit better at sewing, I didn't really like my first bag anymore, and I never used it either. It was reversible and I decided to take the two sides apart and make two new bags. I have now made the first one, pink with multicolor polkadot lining. The second one is going to be light blue/turqouise with flower lining.

I also made a matching sunglasses holder from elecbunnys tutorial https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=6688.0

I'll post the second one here when it's done Smiley

I live in Norway, and I bought the fabric at an interior shop called hlns. The store is originally Swedish, but while the Norwegian stores are fancy interior shops, the Swedish ones are more Wal-Mart sort of shops, with everything from CD's to fabric and clothing. The web site is www.ahlens.com, but it's in Swedish and not very good.
The fabric brand is called Prestigious textiles, printed in the UK. I have tried searching for it, but it's difficult to find anything useful. http://www.design4design.com/products/product.asp?NAV=23454&page=1
On Prestigious Textiles stand at Decosit at the Brussels Expo, Belgium, 6-9 September, will be Fabulous, a collection of retro-style prints. The collection of prints which was inspired by the 1970s, is reproduced on a 100 per cent cotton panama.
Their e-mail is mail@prestigious.co.uk, it seems like they don't have a website.

I'm sorry, but that's all I managed to find... But I guess if you try sending them an e-mail they can help you find a store close to you.

Dude I am in love with that pink purse. I also love the color you chose, good eye! But the polka dot pattern is just too cool, I never find cool fabrics like that when I'm at the fabric store! Anyway, awesome work.. *swoons over the bag*
