Thanks.  It did take a long time to do, about 6 hours.  I did it while watching TV so the time went by quickly.

RubberDuckys crocheting with wire is basically the same as crocheting with yarn.  I taught myself with some books from the craft store.  After making a few scarves, I moved on to wire.  The one thing you want to keep in mind is using fine gauge wire - I used 30 gauge for this piece.
