I just checked your profile...yeah, you may be a little bias.  Tongue

I plan on making more STL ones, I just have to find images I like. Tongue My DH is pushing for Cards coasters. I may just do it for him, even though they are soooo disappointing right now! Grrr...

I still love them though.

ooh..Cards coasters would be nice.  Those would sell like crazy too.  I still have hope for them...they won today!  Not that I've had time to actually watch a game, LOL.  Heard it on the radio while I was running some errands.

I love the St. Louis coasters! I lived there for a while and grew up near there. I always liked that city.

WOW! i think you have just inspired my first thing I'm going to make!

Just a question.. what did you use over the tops of the pics so they are waterproof? Varnish of some description?

Also, do you think that i could use old coasters (like the old 80's or 90's ones) that already have the cork backing, and just glue the pictures onto them? What type of glue do you think I would need to use?

I used Modpodge. It's seems to be holding up ok, but I'm sure other varnish would be fine. I'm not particularly experienced with such things.

The cork I used was meant for draw liners so it was sticky on the back. I would recommend trying to find thicker cork though, so old coasters would probably be great. (plus hooray for recycling)
