This frame I rescued from the thrift store. I painted it, glued on some alphabet blocks and some plastic kid figurines and voila! A kid frame.

beautiful. *sigh* i wish we had a thrift store around here. i went to one down in georgia with a friends family and fell in love, but i couldnt buy anything because thered be no place to put it crammed in a minivan with 7 people. *sigh* anyone know of any thrift shops in MA? perhaps if its close enough i can drag someone out to take me

I got everything at a thrift store. They had bags of little figures and blocks. Garage sales also prove to be good sources. I also have good luck places like "Uncle Fun" in Chicago and "Sister Fun" in Minneapolis.
