yay yay yay!
I finally got round to making some lip gloss! It looks like scary goo but it's really divine  and it actually smells absolutely gorgeous, what with the honey, and lovely other smelly things! Also, I had to resort to using the juice from a squeezed orange, lemon esscence, and a tiny drop of lavender oil... (Is it poisonous?) because i looked in the cupboard and we had nothing else really useable.
well, here it is,

i Decanted it into a small pot

It looks like jam!  mmm Smiley

And here it is on.

I haven't had a chance to do this yet.... lack of petroleum jelly. I guess I'll improvise eventually.

Did this and love it!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used an old eye shadow compact it holds at least half a table spoon. I love combonation of the honey and vanilla. One question will this go bad after a while?

I just tried to make this, about oh say--15 minutes ago? It turned out wonderful! Except using regular honey, I used cinnamon honey which turned out to be a great combination with the vanilla! Thanks for the recipe!

(Right now it's chilling in the freezer, I want it to get harder?)

But it's great! Thanks again!

Oooh, love the cinnamon honey idea!  It figures that I threw out a half empty tub of petroleum jelly last weekend (with no lid).  Will definitely have to try this as I bought lots of candy flavorings a year or two ago, and the kids don't like the taste of the flavors  (I want Jolly Rancher to make candy flavorings!).

Thanks for the recipe!  I might make a trip out for petroleum jelly to make some for when DD gets back from grandma's.
