So far the only places I'm advertising what I have to sell on my eBay account (which is handmade totebags and handbags)...is through a bunch of livejournal communities, my website, and my blogs....but I'm looking for more free places. Anyone have any suggestions?

Oh, and I was wondering where people place threads here on craftster to advertise what they've made and how people can obtain it? I didn't want to just make a thread and have it be way off base as far as where I placed it. lol

Thanks for the help in advance. <3

The only place where you can advertise your shop is in this thread: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?board=28.0 (Links to places were you can buy crafted goods) and on the "Shop crafty" section, which isn't working right now.

Many people also put a link to their shop in their signature, which is OK too.

Any other posting specifially for advertising purposes isn't allowed on craftster.

Hope that helps!

I used to sell on eBay (hope to get back to it soon) and I advertised my wares by including mini brochure, fliers, etc. in my mailings. Didn't matter if I was paying a bill, I included at least a business card with a couple of pics.

I placed the url to my eBay Store in and on all correspondence, outside of envelopes, in emails, anywhere it was sure to be seen, but not necessarily in personal stuff, you know what I mean. Don't want to spam friends, besides, they all know my stuff anyway.

When Practicing Random Acts of Art, my contact into is there on the back.  Cheesy  Shamlessly pimp meself.

Some community newsletters have spaces for free advertising. Check out your local community or neighborhood and see if there is an existing newsletter. If not, maybe you could get one going...I always thought of doing that but I got sidetracked by soooo many other things, lol.
