Swap name: The 2006 Wishlist JUNE Swap
Craftster member who is organizing this swap: Ember77
Sign-up date range: The end of June! 06/30/2006
Date to send item by: Must send out item within 2 weeks of picking a partner
Limited to a certain number of people? (optional): No WAY!!
Non-U.S. participants allowed? Of course!
All ages allowed? Or 18+?  Yes, just make sure its ok with the parental units!
Organizer is aware of current list of "suspended traders" list and will not allow those members to participate: YES

This is really different from the unconditional swap, so PLEASE READ ALL THE DETAILS BEFORE YOU JOIN!
This is a wishlist swap; post a list and you may receive it! Smiley Your list will need to consist of where you are from (PLEASE put your state and/or country), crafted items that you would like (it helps greatly to include links to photographs, tutorials, etc.) and/or crafting supplies.

FIRST: You will look through the lists of the people who have already posted.  You will THEN pick someone from there to craft for.

SECOND: As soon as you have messaged me, the organizer, telling me who you would like to craft for I will tell you that you can post a list.

- to be able to post a list you have to craft for at least ONE person
- there must be AT LEAST 5 items on your list
- you can be picked as many times as you have items on your list
- if you have been picked 3 times, you have to pick one other person to craft for, then you can be picked more..

Person B wants to have their list posted so they PM the organizer with their questionnaire answers, and what they want to craft from Person As list.  The organizer will then PM person B, give them person As address, then they can then post their list.

Person C wants to have a list up, so they choose from A OR B, PM the organizer their answers, the name of the person they want to craft for, and what theyre going to craft.   Then they wait until the organizer sends them the address of whom they have picked.  Then they can post their list.

Say person A has been chosen 3 times. For them to be picked more, they have to pick one more person to craft for.  The organizer (me) will let you know when you need to pick someone else if you want to receive more items.

This is different than the unconditional swap!!!
The unconditional swap is not expecting anything in return for what you have made. A lot of people post their lists without even making anything for someone, so to be able to post your list (and receive) you must craft for at least ONE person!

*This starts over with each new month!*

Hello from Montana! I am currently working at my very fun but very unpaid summer internship. The top three are my biggest wishes, the rest are all just to give you lots to choose from. Thanks to anyone who picks me!

* A stenciled tee shirt for the boy. I think hes L or XL. All his shirts have been destroyed by work (oil field), so he has like three nice tees. Hes very outdoorsy/ jockish. He fishes, hunts, plays golf, softball, etc. He listens to country, rock and Ray Charles. His fave color is green.

* Set of cloth dinner napkins for the house. Green is best, but anything earthy and not too bright is good. They can really basic because they are for everyday use, and I am sharing them with the boy. Thanks much onthinice!

* A fun knee to floor length skirt, but not a jean one. Im thinking like a circle skirt or ones like in the hippie skirt swap.

* Home spun or dyed yarn.

* Soap. Homemade or just plain fun, I just love soap. Come to think of it, I dont even have a soap dish. So I guess that would be cool too. EDIT: I LOVE this soap dish! https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=16739653.msg943738 Thank you mystery swapper!

*A fun but sturdy patchwork backpack. Just something simple with a main zipper compartment and a small front one. I just suck at zippers so damn bad! Here's the best one EVER!:

*Lucky stars in white, green and/or blue. Just loose ones. EDIT: I've been getting a ton of question on what these are. The following link will explain better then I can. Also, if you search "lucky stars" or "origami stars" on craftster, you'll get some images. http://www.opane.com/luckystar.html
Thank you !!!

*Long loopy necklace! I just got done with swap, and I want more!

*Anything with a lotus flower. A bowl, bag, candleholder, notebook, shirt, anything! If you want a more exact answer, pm me.

*Altered book supplies. Small books, paper goods, stickers, glue, tape, binder clips, sandpaper, envelopes, stamps, 3d stuff, photo edges, paints dyes and whatever else you can think of.

*NEW WISH!!! Shrinky dinks! Not colored ones, just the plastic. The only place I can get it here is Wal-Mart, and I do not shop there.

I pretty much like any colors. Blue is my fave, followed by jewel and earth tones. I dont really like neons or pastels that much, but sometimes they can work. I love sparkle. If you make any house stuff, though, I would stick with earth tones since I share a place with a boy. I dont want to ramble much more, so if you want to know anything else about me, just ask. I love answering questions. Thanks for looking!

Okay, Wish list

-Anything from my wists list http://www.wists.com/simplyfussfree

-This bag: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=91768.0. Colors and everything are perfect.

-Foresty themed ( owl, deer, trees, etc. ) pillow(s)/pillowcase(s) ( my bedding is green )

-The knitted bag at the bottom of this page: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=88284.10 This color, or brown or green or navy or something

-Handknit socks ( maybe black with a little red heart somewhere on them or avocado green )

-My sister's a writer and I'd love something for her. Maybe something with a vintage picture of a girl writing. A slide necklace may be cool. Or a bag to carry her notebook in or something. If someone picks this, I'll PM you some stuff about her likes to help give you some ideas.

To anyone who chooses to craft for me, thanks loads in advance!

About me: I'm from Los Angeles but have been living in England for a few months. I'll be back in the US June 1 so I'm having packages mailed there. I've been living with my lovely boyfriend and will miss him very much once I leave England ( I'm quite glum about leaving him ). I will miss England as well. My name is Jana, I just turned 26 years old a couple of days ago. I like green <3 ( foresty/avacado-y ), browns, and light pink when combined with those colors. I'm obsessed with travelling and with Romania, Russia, and Poland. I like Victorian looking things, forest themed things, Hansel and Gretal, things with trees on it, bikes, and nesting dolls. I don't like: metallics, fun fur, when people clip their nails around me, and when people clap at the end of movies.

Okay, now that I've finally found the right place to post for this swap, here's my list!

A large tote bag - with a zipper would be great but not necessary.  Nice and bright!!!!

Oven mitts - any material but something with food, chili peppers or fruit would be nice!

I'd love a plush teddy bear - around 12" would be great!

12" squares - any pretty colors and nice pattern would be fine but if you need inspiration, check out this website: http://www.quilterscache.com/BlocksbySizeC.html

A teapot picture with the teapot measuring about 3" x 3" and the Aida cloth at least 6" x 6" so I can frame it to match the few others I have.

Any picture that features tulips, scarecrows or sunflowers

Wooden Items

Something to stand on my display shelves, that's under 12" tall, and relating to tulips, scarecrows or sunflowers.

Rail pet - if you're a wood worker you may know what I mean but if not, check out this for ideas:

I'm planning to make a jar quilt featuring fruit and veggies so any fabric with this theme would be great.

12" squares - nice bright colors and any pattern is great Thanks Ezri_B!

Eeyore, Pooh or Tigger crocheted in thread - I already have Piglet and he's getting lonely for his friends.

Amigurumi - bunny or teddy bear Thanks Stellato_escuro!

Slippers - ladies size 9 in dark blue or dark green

I collect miniature kitchen utensils so anything to add to this collection would be appreciated.

A summer purse - bright colors, short handles (wooden would be nice) and it could be crocheted, knitted or made with fabric.

This is really out there and I doubt anyone will actually do it but if you want to send me a small, electric chocolate fountain, I would be so happy.

Candy - I love trying candy from different parts of the world, so if you want to send me some, Id be very thankful.  No chocolate, though, as I am allergic to it.  I also really like salted dutch licorice and licorice chalk. Thanks!

A bit about me:  I live in Alberta, Canada.  I'm a stay at home Mom and have just started a casual job at a bank, which I am totally loving.  I like to crochet, sew, quilt, tole paint and something cross stitch.  I'll usually try a craft at least once.  I totally love swapping!

Im in Portland, Oregon, USA.

1. I really like the Amy Butler nappy bag, especially made with the fabric pictured on the pattern.  Its perfect!  (I dont have a baby, but I do like to carry a lot of crap!)  A messenger bag style bag that I could carry while riding my bike would be awesome, too!
2. A circle skirt or a similarly non-tight knee-ish length skirt.  PM me for size/colors.  There is at least one in my wists I need something to wear this summer, since I hate to wear shorts!
3. A belt.  Id like something that can go with lots of different colors (maybe a neutral-y blue or green and white?) and I wear my jeans low on my hips, so PM me for measurements!
4. A nice sturdy grocery tote or two like these: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=47761.0
5. Something for me to carry my lunch in.  Right now I just use paper sacks, which makes me feel very wasteful, and I hate that theyre so noisy and crinkly (I cant sneakily eat snacks!).  PM me for specific size/style.
6. Pajama pants.
7. Some sort of summery shirt/tank top.  There are a few in my wists that I would love!  Somewhat relatedly, a cute cardigan (could be reconned, embroidered, whatever) to wear when it gets chilly!

1. Amigurumi animal modeled after one of my pets (your pick of cats, dog, or chickens -- i already have an amigurumi karl!)
2. A headband like this one: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=74104.0 thank you, hertrigger!

Paper crafts:

1. Handmade stationery or notecards with envelopes.
thanks, devilninny!!
2. Paper stars for me to hang in my room like these ones: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=83862.0;topicseen
3. Address labels (with my real name, so I can use them for things other than craftster) thanks, hertrigger!!

A DIY kit for any of the following:

1. stenciling or screen-printing
2. kanzashi flowers
3. crochet I want to learn this just so I can make amigurumi hamsters!
4. pmc (I have no idea how this works, but I would love to learn!)
or surprise me with a cool DIY craft kit! I love learning how to make new things!

1. I love this crane necklace: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=72997.msg686245;topicseen
2. Teeny little super guy glass: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=86122.0
3. A stenciled/silkscreened shirt or bag.  Things Ive been into lately: birds, cherry blossoms, cats, trees, nature themes, foxes, the phrase cat party."  PM me if you need more ideas/sizes.
4. Some yummy soap. thanks, batgirl!
5. Anything that has to do with any of my pets pictures available upon request Smiley
6. Earrings! love dangly earrings!
7. A prettified travel coffee mug for me to take to work in the mornings.  My roommate borrowed my old one a few months ago, but it was pretty ugly anyway.  Dishwasher safe please Smiley
8. Anything from my wists or based on my wists!
9. A suprise!

1. I have a beautiful old Singer sewing machine, but Im absolutely terrified of it.  It seems like every time I use it, I manage to mess up the tension or get a big wad of thread stuck coming up from the bobbin.  Animegirlie sent me the manual (thank you!!), but anything to help me overcome my fears and also learn how to deal with common sewing machine problems instead of throwing up my hands in defeat would be wonderful!

2. Anything to help me organize all of my craft junk.  This could be anything from a pretty jar to hold pencils/rulers/scissors to a decoupaged box to a nice big basket/tote for works in progress.  Any organization would seriously help me!

3. Colorful roving for needle felting and felted beads!

4. Fabric!  I like Amy Butler style prints, small cute flowers/plants, fruits and veggies, cute animals... I could go on and on Smiley  Some felt would be nice too.

5.  Essential oils!  I just received a super soapmaking kit from lexbean, so I already have lavender and cucumber melon.  I would love jasmine, anything green tea-y (do they make that?), citrus... whatever! Smiley  I don't mind if they're partially used, as long as there's at least half left.

6. Shrinky Dink paper!  I like the bright white kind.  Also, can you draw on shrinky dink paper with any kind of pen?  If you need a special kind, I would really like some of 'em Wink

About me: I'm a 19 year old working college student in Portland, Oregon.  Im studying to become a social worker.  Right now I do vocational support for adults with developmental disabilities.  I love nature and animals; I have 3 cats, a dog, a hamster, two baby chickens, and some fish.  I don't like super flashy things (neon, huge hawaiian flowers, etc) and my favorite colors are green, red, and blue.  I love vintage stuff -- some of my favorite fabrics are 30s style prints.  I also like more modern patterns, like bold stripes and polka dots and there is a special place in my heart for super-cutesy cat prints.

Thank you to everyone who has already sent me wonderful handcrafted items in the mail, and thank YOU for reading my list! Smiley

Reposting so I'm at the end but sorry I've already had three wishes picked so I'm "unavailable"

Hello!  Here's my list...

My list:

Any papers (origiami, scrap book, tissue, mulberry) as I love paper crafts, especially card making.

Ribbon Belt- like this one:
https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=75711.0 PM me for measurements

A Handmade journal- to write down/sketch my crafty ideas- there's one I like in my Wists

a DIY beginners kit with instructions e.g. paper making, bath bombs/soap or even knitting/crocheting.  Would love a DIY microsocope slide kit too.

Bag: would love one like this: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=88223.0

Any fabrics/ribbons in co-ordinating colours

I love cooking and have just got an apron with big bold brown dots on it (can provide a picture if necessary)
and would love a coordinating oven glove or tea towels.

Any beads- glass or seed beads

Absolutely anything that's on my Wists- I'm always updating it.

Necklace with pendants like this https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=93589.0

Any small (5"x7" or 6"x4") art work- photos, watercolours, collage etc.  I'm making a mini art gallery in our downstairs bathroom to liven it up and I'd love to include some work from you guys.

A quick addition- my other half has just broken his arm so anything to cheer him up would be great as he's going to be out of action for a while.  PM me if you need any ideas.

I'm in Suffolk in the UK.  I'm 26 and live with my boyfriend in the countryside.  I work full time in IT and also study part time for an IT degree.  I love most colours except neons.  Like light blue with brown or light pink with brown for some reason.  Love the colours of peacock feathers and butterflies.  I can sew, bead and paper craft.  Have no idea how to knit or crochet.

Thank you in advance if you choose me!

Hey everyone, I just picked my first person to swap for and I am posting my list. I am a newbie so I can only have one wish.. I am assuming that means that only one person can craft for me?? and not that I can only post one wish. I worked on a list and I hope its suitable so here it is:

Blurb: Hi, my name is Jennifer and I am an 18 year old girl from southwestern Ontario. I am very artistic and enjoy drawing, painting and sewing. I like chocolate, chewy candies, Farscape, and Harry Potter (in particular the 5th book and the Weasley Family, oh and Dobby!!). I like ballet, but I do not dance. I also love to read, and learn new things. I like the colours pink, black, blue and orange. I would love to get some interesting things from other countries. Basicly I just like things I can use, not stuff that just sits around and looks pretty. Oh and I like water buffalos!!! Infact I fed a normal old buffalo recently and it slobbered a lot :S.

I would be completely enamoured if you took the time to make me a shirt like this in pink or a cute fabric:
