Hello this is my first post. I've recently started making cards - though I'm a long time random crafter (dabbling in whatever takes my fancy).

I bought a whole load of proper card making/scrap booking stuff but I am really struggling to NOT think in terms of symmetry and geometry. Trying to make cards which have nice layouts is pure murder for me. hehe

Anyway whilst looking for something else, I came across a stationery set i bought from the Pound Shop (99c/dollar store) as a stand by Christmas present in case I'd forgotten anyone. I hadn't, so I decided to open it up and realised what GREAt value it was for making cards! There were 20 sheets of paper - 10 in pastel stripe design, 10 in lilac and cream dotty design; 10 notelets with the same designs and 20 envelopes too! All that for 1, I thought was great. So decided to tart up some of the notelets and got a wee theme going on. thought you might like to see.

Hope you like! I'll definitely be looking for more stationery sets from the pound Shop (I could have even used the cardboard box it came in if I hadn't ripped it) to use as the basis for crafts.
